Just In Case
Dear Me,
Just in case I forget -
Life has been a heck of a ride, so much like a roller coaster with ups and downs and moments that take your breath away. But at the end I would do it all over again.
Just in case I feel unloved -
Remember all those who helped you along the way, all the blessings you have, all the moments you did not believe you were a part of.
Remember those moments when your granddaughter says I love you most of all, or without words someone can just look at you and they said it all.
Just in case I fall down -
Remember what you learned, pick yourself up, dust off the dirt, and make sure you do not go down that road again. We learn but its all about getting back up!
Just in case I make mistakes-
Remember to forgive others, as they have felt or are feeling the way you are right now!
Remember to not anchor it to your soul, remembering helps you to NOT choose that again.
Remember to choose more carefully in the future!
Apologize from your heart and soul, mean it! And then show them you will never be that person again!
Just in case I grieve -
Remember that loving is the upside, grieving is the remembering how wonderful loving them was.
Be the kind of person that leaves an imprint of love, not destruction, let them see you always get back up! and Love with all you have, with every fiber of your being, and without conditions.
Just in case I get hurt -
Remember that you have hurt others so forgive those who hurt you.
Remember you did not always feel this way, wish them the best, love them always, and find
what it is you deserve!! Because we all deserve someone who couldn't imagine their life without
our kind of craziness in it.
Just in case I hurt someone else -
Do you know why you did it? Do you realize why you should never do it again.
Apologize but not until you mean it from your heart. Then live to prove to them it was a moment in time. That moment does not make you who you are. Choose differently!
Just In Case I laugh:
Laugh without reservations, Laugh till you cry.
Make others laugh, and often.
Just In Case I Love:
Love with everything you Have! Please know I will NEVER regret loving.
Even if they hurt me, even if they can't love me in return.
Love especially those who you think don't deserve it, those you struggle with,
Find something anything and love them anyway, despite themselves.
Love them as you want to be loved, as God loves us alldsspite our short comings. Everyone has something that can still be seen, redeemed, and loved.
Just In Case I forget to see what's worthwhile:
Look at your children, look at your grandchildren. Look at your parents, your siblings. Look at your family, extended, birth, your friends, those who you have loved and lost. Listen to a river, a child's laugh, your favorite song. Then do it again.
Be silly, goofy, forgiving, dance and sing along. And live really live.
Just In Case I wonder if I make a difference:
Look at my granddaughter laughing and smiling when she says I am her favorite heart, and feel the non judging way she forgives. Look at our past, at the thousands who have closure, peace. Look at the person others seem to see within you, even if you don't see it. Wake up and realize it's never to late to be who God created me to be.
Remember I am not a victim, or failure, or ex wife, I am not even a failed mother, I am just Jill. A daughter of my Heavenly Father, a child of my parents who taught me to forgive, to love, to try again. I am constantly growing, repenting and changing.
Just In Case:
I hope you all know this life is exciting, trying, hurtful, funny, creative, painful, and so much more. And just in case.....
I love you all!! Remember - Your never beat until you quit and I refuse to give up, or in!!
